Artists Statement
I love working with vibrant contrasting colours, and using them to convey emotion, movement and change. This triptych explores a change in condition. Originally designed as depicting moving from the state of Order, to Confusion and then to Chaos, this can reflect the changes that occur when someone has a stroke. However, for this exhibition, I've decided to display them in reverse order, moving from Chaos to Confusion to Order, thereby focusing on the recovery of the stroke survivor and the journey they travel on to get their life back together, and to slowly regain control and order in their lives.
Triptych. Acrylic on canvas board. Title: 'Chaos, Confusion, Order', Size: Each piece is 20 x 16 inches, so all together, they measure 20 x 48 inches. Selling price: £400 (all three sold together)
They are framed and wired so should be easy to hang. They should be displayed together, in a row, with 'Chaos' on the left, 'Confusion' in the middle, and 'Order' on the right.
